Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM FROZEN.

WARNING:

Do NOT use conventional or toaster oven.

STOVETOP: (for best results)

  1. For best results, use non-stick medium size skillet with lid.
  2. Preheat skillet on LOW.
  3. Cut open bag and add contents to skillet with 1 tbsp (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil, cover with lid and increase heat to MEDIUM.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes, remove lid and cook for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally to mix components into sauce.
  5. Remove from burner and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

MICROWAVE (1000 WATTS):

  1. Do not pierce or perforate bag.
  2. Place bag on microwave safe dish, seam side up.
  3. Heat on high 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Let stand 30 seconds.
  5. CAUTION: Bag will be hot.
  6. Carefully remove bag from microwave, holding edges.
  7. Open bag and transfer contents into dish.
  8. Stir before serving.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature 165°F (74°C) is reached. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.Salad may be served warm or cold after cooking.
